About Me
For nearly 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of being behind a microphone - guiding, entertaining, and connecting with audiences of all sizes. As a Master of Ceremonies, I’ve worked across community, corporate, and special events, building a reputation for being engaging, adaptable, and able to strike just the right tone no matter the occasion.
My journey started in Mount Gambier, where I began as a commercial radio announcer in 1998. Through this role, I was asked to MC local community events. From Australia Day ceremonies and Christmas parades to sporting clubs and charity fundraisers, I quickly became a familiar face and voice. Over two decades, I’ve proudly dedicated hundreds of hours to my community - not just hosting events but helping bring people together in moments that matter.
Alongside my work as an MC, I’ve developed a strong background in vocal production and voiceover work, lending my voice to projects that range from corporate videos to creative productions. This combination of live and recorded experience has sharpened my ability to communicate clearly, authentically, and with presence - skills that naturally flow into my work as a celebrant.
My decision to become a registered marriage celebrant feels like the next chapter in my journey. At its heart, celebrancy is about people. Honouring stories, celebrating milestones, and creating ceremonies that reflect the individuality of those involved. After decades of hosting, I understand how to balance formality with warmth, structure with spontaneity, and professionalism with a human touch.
What drives me most is connection. Whether it’s calming nerves before a big moment, holding space in emotional situations, or adding just the right spark of humour, I take pride in being the steady, supportive presence that allows others to shine.
With a wealth of experience, a deep commitment to integrity, and a genuine passion for people, I bring more than just a voice to the role of celebrant. I bring years of lived practice in making moments memorable.
